Leftover Roast Brunswick Stew

This is a very good Brunswick stew made with last night's leftover pot roast. Southern style BBQ sauce works best. Don't use honey BBQ or other really sweet sauces because they make the stew too sweet.

I have some delicious leftover roast. I don't want to waste it though. I'm not sure my family would like this.

Hi! If I used veges I would use fresh or frozen. But maybe just omit and have barbeque beef sandwiches.

recipe sounds good- i would swap the bbq for brown gravy(cause i have to tweak-lol)and make a pan of cornbread:-)i agree with frozen or fresh veggies- i think the canned would just be mushy

The Supreme Shepherd's Pie

This terrific pie, made with leftover roast beef, couldn't be easier. Cut the beef into cubes and arrange them in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish. Top the beef with a layer of sliced onions, beef gravy, and homemade mashed potatoes. Bake until the potatoes are golden brown and all the flavors have mingled.

I don't think I'd like that. Maybe this with some corn or green beans added?

I was surprised that some of the reviewers liked it. I can't wrap my head around what it would come out tasting like.

Sliced deli beef or cooked leftover roast beef mixed with onions, garlic, tomatoes, green chiles, and taco seasonings is the perfect filling wrapped in flour tortillas to make a zesty burrito.

Or the ol' standby, hot roast beef sammies with gravy and mashed potatoes. Yum!
