JAGNESS is asking: (1 answer)
What happened to the page that lets you type in a few ingredients and find matching recipes? It seems to come and go, and when I do find it, it does not work the way it used to.

Looks the same to me. Click on the orange magnifying glass by the search box up there^ twice and you will find the ingredient search on the left.

On the new menu format you have to get there by clicking on the orange magnifying glass.....then click on the larger magnifing glass ....will be on the left side of the screen. 2 step process compared to how it used to work.

How confusing! The new format is coming and going for me and today I have it and I thought I would try the recipe search. Wow, not at all user friendly.

I agree Linda. The ingredient search is not as user-friendly at all. I don't see the reason for having to enter a main thing you are looking for in that top field with the magnifying glass. I liked just entering some ingredients then adding a keyword if I was looking for a specific type of recipe.

I agree. Don't see why AR changed it to be this way. You can click on the search without entering anything and then when the larger magnifying glass appears click again to get to that other screen. You can also bookmark the screen where it does appear if that is a feature you often use, but still a pain either way !!!!!

Actually, the blog comment about avoiding 'bias' by making the changes a secrete makes NO sense to me. Most program changes are done offline (i.e. beta testing) with programmers and perhaps selected users. It makes no sense to have the general public do their website testing.

I agree with you all as a newbie since March just got used to one way and then next day BAM changed. What the Hey? I am challenged with this site as it is didn't need more. Got it figured out though. After trial and error find it to be OK I just because was not that used to old way. It still makes me grumpy however, I'm an old dog and don't like new tricks.
