I set my slowcooker on low instead of high on my stew that was going to cook for 4 hours . now my dinner is not done help should I turn up to high ?

I would finish on the stovetop or in the oven. It will cook faster than your slow cooker.

I also agree....put on med high on the stove, boil then lower to med.

Agree to switch to stovetop. Check doneness with meat thermometer.

If you haven't already, forget the meat thermometer advice. It's STEW chairlifter, in the SLOWCOOKER.

the stew was tasty but the meat was alittle tuff thx for all the advice
