I want to make biscuits and gravy without an oven. Am I dreaming? I have access to a stove, slow cooker, bread maker, rice cooker, just no oven until Wednesday. Thoughts or ideas?

Some stores sell pre-made biscuits. I'd wait till Wednesday.

You don't need an oven for gravy...While I have not done it, I suspect that you could use your slow cooker as sort of a Dutch Oven to make up some form of "biscuit"

Years ago,(and I mean years) I made biscuits on the grill while camping. Can't remember how I did it though. I'm old and sad... sorry.

party chef is right- my mom always made them camping- maybe the above link will also help- mom would turn a cake pan upside down(so the heat would be above the heat and even- then put the pan with biscuits on top- cover- turn after they (rose) and finish cooking- the texture is not quite the same- but- you can have biscuits & gravy- yum:-)

This recipes makes a flavorful gravy and the dumplings or biscuits are made right in the slow cooker although I cooked them longer than the recipe stated, 1 hour at least on high. Enjoy!

Do you have a turkey roaster ? We baked biscuits in it at 350 and they came out great. Also at a fairgrounds we had canned biscuits that we grilled in butter in a skillet stovetop. Low and slow and turned half way thru. Looked like a thick pancake. Tasted great with the gravy.

Make a beerbread in your bread maker toast and sub for biscuits
