Just read the article. Doesn't really surprise me. I always thought they were disgusting. Lol!

Ditto, thou when I was a kid I thought they were the coolest things even if I only got to have them at my friends house. I was SHOCKED that they stayed in the fridge for 2 months and were still edible. ick

Rather frightening for all the elderly people I see buying them.

Well, if you're talking about the ones you buy on the market, steer clear. They have whopping amounts of sodium. Enough to take your sodium consumption recommendation into the next week!!Also, they tend to have additives to keep them colorful in the deep freeze. Sorry, I have nothing really good to say about them. I have been a nurse for 28 years. I always recommend my clients eat more naturally for their health and quicker healing. Best to you .

Pet peeve: Frozen dinners, especially from weight-loss "biggies" like WW, Lean Cuisine, South Beach and ESPECIALLY "HEALTHY CHOICE". What, exactly, is healthy about these meals? People eat these meals in an attempt to lose weight, thinking they are doing something positive for themselves. Do they realize it's all ? Nearly no nutrition? It's very disturbing to me. >.

I agree Mel.
