I know some people like them. I got some free from myspice but didn't like them. They were just too bitter for me.

I don't know anyone who has used them and was wondering what they were like. Internet search said they really don't taste like chocolate but do in an odd way. I think I'll pass for now.

My younger brother always keeps a container in his fridge. When I visit I toss a few in with my yogurt but that is all. tTey remind me of espresso beans in texture but have a hint of chocolate. They are very good for you but it is not something I buy.

Cocao nibs are the raw product used to start making chocolate. By themselves they are very bitter, that is why they are ground/processed and mixed with things like sugar to make the chocolate most of us are familiar with. Unless you are making some sort of specialty dish, I don't know there are many uses for them. ... http://www.ehow.com/info_8539376_cocoa-nibs.html
