A Thanksgiving tradition in my family is Tourtiere (French pork pie)which I serve with the turkey giblet gravy. What is tradtionally served with it in French (or other) households?

A light salad to go with a heavier dish would be nice - mixed greens with raspberry vinaigrette:

Hi pegbeg - Our family tradition with Tourtiere is Christmas morning breakfast served with eggs. My great-grandma lived to be 105 and she is the one that always made it. My mom has now taken over the long process of making these. When she does, she makes 10 and freezes them so we can have it throughout the year. I've never had it for an evening meal, but I would serve it with a salad, also.
