Happy Thanksgiving! Do you eat turkey in Canada for Thanksgiving? If so, I didn't know that, but we had turkey yesterday! :)

Yup - we have turkey on Thanksgiving. Sometimes on Christmas, but usually we have prime rib for Christmas Day. I make a turkey in March for hubby's birthday and sometimes we have turkey breasts at other times throughout the year. We've also been known to deep-fry a turkey in the summer for family picnic/get-togethers.

We are changing it up and didn't buy a whole turkey, but legs to grill and breasts to stuff! Prepping as we speak.

hi, What is this Thanksgiving" ??. Just another excuse to have a fiesta, drink and food. But why with probably the most tasteless bird of all.??.Strange decision all these years ago.. Sorry, NO like turkey at all!!!. need a decent sauce then with a small tincture of rum. cheers. Cranberry Sauce This sauce can be made days ahead, covered with clingfilm, refrigerated then brought to room temperature or slightly heated before serving. 360g/12 oz fresh Cranberries 180ml/ 6fl oz Orange Juice 150g/ 5oz Brown Sugar 60g/ 2oz White Sugar 60ml/2 fl oz Rum Instructions Place all the ingredients in a sauce pan and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes or until most of the liquid has reduced; Remove from heat.

We have so much to be thankful for...it's good to celebrate, and it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the turkey! Love the turkey, injected or brined or not, doesn't matter to me!! Juicy and delicious.

Happy Thanksgiving! I made this. Can't wait to try it, but I'll hate to cut into it, it looks so pretty with the apples on top!
