I'm making casseroles for daughter... would 350 for 60 min be about right to heat from frozen???

It sounds like a good guess to me, but I don't really know.

Hi, that's 175 to me. Assuming already cooked and frozen, that may well be ok, maybe check at that and add more time if need be. hope helps. cheers

170/175 is celsius. about gas 3 or so. sorry, don't use fahrenheit. cheers.

All these bilingual temperatures and measurements are confusing to me. I should have paid more attention the day they taught metric :)

how thick is it, and what is in the casserole? I thought 1 hr at 350 would be fine for an 8x8 pan of lasagna-not so, it was still frozen in the middle

This is such a good question that I had to do some research and will add this link to my recipe box. The internal temp must reach 165. Not many recipes give re-heating instructions for cooking after freezing. Gosh learn something new everyday on here.

Oh Ok Redneck Gramma I will have to work that one out...I was thinking of the old hamburger casserole with tots on top. the Grandkids asked for that one. the others will keep in the frig till eaten...about 2 days.

Thanks Sherri will add it to my long list of links also... going to make the tater tot casserole thin and not cook the tots just add to cooked meat and green beans and say 350 for 60 min covered... should be good.

looser beef would heat quicker, lasagna turns into a big ice block-just keeping that in mind
