Easy Butter Fingers Candy

This easy and inexpensive candy tastes like that famous crunchy peanut candy bar. Buy your candy supplies after Halloween to get a great price, then make a batch or two for Christmas gifts and cookie trays.

[Thanks to Marianne, I just saved this (= I will make it, either "naked" (sans chocolate) or using peanut butter chips in place of the chocolate chips, for my chocolate-hating manchild (= Also, I may roll into logs like I do my Baby Ruth bars, instead of cutting into bars . . .]

I just saved a recipe for the first time - from the new format. I don't know if my ease was thanks to changes [fixes] that AR has performed. But it worked fine for me. And I was able to save it directly to my "candy" folder. I clicked on the orange "arrow" [triangle thingy (=] and the drop down opened, allowing me to pick my folder. And when I looked over, viola!, it was right where I wanted it to be (=

were you not able to do that before? I did try that the other night and it worked fine for me. I didn't realize that was an issue too.

I hadn't tried yet - but have seen many moans and groans here on the buzz about it . . . Some about recipes not saving - or having to go out and come back in to see them in their RB - and about not being able to catergorize them when saving from the recipe. Not sure how much is really an "issue" - and how much is trying to familiarize ourselves with the changes.

ARElizabeth did say yesterday that they were working on some of the issues - so maybe these are fixes . . .

Elizabeth if you had anything to do with that annoyance that I couldn't get rid of that I won't talk about out loud for fear that my luck will run out, thanks!

I am still having problems saving recipes. I just tried to save a recipe on the new format and nothing!!! I know I'm doing it right, but that feature just does NOT work for me. The one time it did work, a green statement came up at the top of the page saying check my recipe box, but that's not very helpful since the area where you have to click save is lower on the page and you can't see the top and save at the same time. It was SO much easier to see the recipe pic go over to the box and know it was in there. ~sigh~

A wonderful moist coconut cake perfect for birthday parties. Walnuts and pecans are interchangeable in this recipe.

Aha! And I just realized how to see more than the reviews on the recipe's page! I opened one review, then clicked on "see all reviews" on the lower right corner. - woo hoo! [It's like I have a new toy (=]
