This delicious salsa made with fresh kiwis, apples and berries is a sweet, succulent treat when served on homemade cinnamon tortilla chips. Enjoy it as a summer appetizer or an easy dessert.

Time consuming but it is well worth it! The brown sugar and bacon grease combine beautifully and give such a great taste.

Pigs in Blankets These, in reality, Bacon and Sausage Rolls make a great snack or appetiser. You can prepare well in advance, cover them with cling film or place them in a sealed container and store them in the refrigerator until ready to cook or place them in the freezer and defrost them in the refrigerator when required. 24 Chipolata Sausages or similar small Sausages, such as or 450g/1 lb Chipolata Sausage, separated into smaller sausages 12 slices Streaky Bacon Cocktail Sticks Method Pre-heat oven to 200C/400F/gas 5 Cut each rasher of bacon in half and stretch them with a knife; run the back of a knife along the length of each rasher of bacon to flatten and stretch them slightly - this stops them shrinking during cooking; Wrap one half rasher of bacon around each sausage, making sure that the seal is underneath the bacon/sausage roll; Skewer with a cocktail stick; Place on a lightly greased oven tray and roast in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and crisping; Serve immediately or can set aside and keep warm until needed. You can serve with cranberry sauce as a dip.

Ellie, yours and my daughter are doing the same thing! It's perfect day to be in a pool. She is taking soft drinks in a cooler. Some of the others will bring peanut butter crackers, chips, oatmeal bars, things like that
