This is great for those crazy days when you lose track of time. It's a wonderful, one pot meal in under 30 minutes.

Even Captain Hook would love this cocktail with its cherry cola and rum flavors poured into a tall frosty glass.

Love e-filing...we have mean people at our local post office...I think they all need a drink.

Perhaps they need to stop drinking. Mine have a forward motion that is a smidgen faster than being in park.

Here in CDN our deadline is April 30th. We e-filed back in mid March and just got the refunds this week. E-filing still takes 4 weeks to get a refund. Should be faster than that.

Shell macaroni are stuffed with a creamy tuna mixture in this easy to prepare, fun to eat appetizer. Serve on a bed of lettuce leaves with toothpicks, and make sure plenty of cocktail sauce is available!

Love it. The search I was doing didn't pull up anything. Probably because it was an obscenity. :)

Yep. Sales tax, gasline tax, ETC. Sales tax in my area is nearly 10%. So that's on top of pretty much everything we buy.

My taxes are done and my refund has been spent. Just wanted to let you know that my local news said the post office won't be staying open until midnight like it usually does. Not sure if that is nation wide or not. Might want to check it out in your area just to be safe.

My post office is not staying open late but there is a sign on the door showing which ones in the area are. So there are some that are giving you more time. You may have to drive a ways to find them!

Wheat Crackers

This thin wheat cracker is simple and thrifty to make. It will taste great with any dip or spread, and they will have much more character than factory made crackers.

I mailed mine last week. I learned something at the Post Office about mailing your taxes. He suggested that I send it certified mail, that way I had a receipt and I could prove that I mailed it/when I mailed it/ and be provided with proof of receipt. I would have never thought to do that by myself.

Well, my post office workers are all okay, but the customers are the snails. They arrive - and go to the window - without their packages prepared!! So everyone has to wait while the postal employee helps them tape up their package. This happened to me yesterday! I thought yesterday was the deadline so I e-filed late yesterday afternoon.

In our state we have to pay a tax for shopping out of state. They have a table to estimate how much you spend, if you don't know exactly. Also, my city is the second-highest in the state for sales tax: nearly 10%. So if you spend $100 at WalMart or the grocery store, it's $110.

Lets just pray Obama doesn't get another 4 years. We will really know what taxes are all about I am afraid. This will seem like nothing.
