Jan's Pretzel Dogs

Homemade pretzel dough is made with beer, instead of water, for a richer flavor. Wrap around your favorite hot dogs and bake, and you'll have a wonderful treat for your next party.

I adapted this recipe from a seasoning I saw for blackened catfish. Because these steaks have a lot of kick, I make a more mellow side dish, like buttered potatoes or grilled fresh vegetables. --Vera Kobiako, Jupiter, Florida

We are also doing a pizza. BUT, I use whole wheat tortillas and put a tiny bit of sauce, some turkey pepperoni and some cheese and spices on them. They bake up nice and crunchy! We love them and they are South Beach friendly!
