Ham Cake-ettes

Submitted by: Avon- status quo PRO
Tasty ham and potato patties with green onion and Dijon mustard are rolled into panko bread crumbs and fried until golden brown. The delicious little cakes are a great way to use up post-holiday leftovers.

BTW, that looks really good. I would have to ditch the dill weed though. I don't do Dill.

Might do, but here's a question. Can I buy can store bought sliced ham from the deli? And swimming, swimming.

sure you can. Or buy a small chunk and chop finely.

I'd have to go with deli meat. I don't make Ham that often.

then do that. All the rest of the stuff isn't odd ball stuff that usually isn't in someone's kitchen. I bet you would like them. Serve for dinner with a tossed salad and it's nice and quick.

Hmm, think you got a winner here Anne. Would be good with eggs. And minus the Dill Weed. Sorry.. personal taste.

Thanks so much Weeble. I am going to make some in the next day or so and am going to save some for breakfast also. I love the idea of that.

Beautiful looking Ham Cakes Miss Avon! I loved reading the reviews... especially Christina's. "A few simple ingredients....." You know what I say, it seems the best dishes have the fewest ingredients; Like your Warm Orange Sauce!!!

I'm off to bed now. Been getting ready for Candice today. I have the ham cut up and the mashed potatoes cooked. I'm going to make Candice help me make these tomorrow! :)

Hi ladies, sorry I was away from the computer watching tv. I really feel honored that you are doing that Marianne! And Candice, again....thanks so much for making that sauce with your cake. Perfect pairing and I wished I was with both of you tomorrow. Have a great time!
