My recipe box has 999 recipes in it. I discovered I'm being really picky about my next recipe save. I haven't saved a recipe in 4 days. Will you please help me choose recipe number 1000. EXTRA points if it's a cupcake recipe.

These cupcakes blend two of my favorite flavors: orange and vanilla! Reminiscent of a childhood ice cream pop treat, these cupcakes will make you feel like a kid again!

Allie made these and they were beautiful. This is my last cupcake saved and I'm making them this weekend.
Apr. 5, 2012 6:58 pm
Oh Molly, I've made these. They are yummy-licious! Although it's in my RB, thank you for reminding me about them.

I made the frosting from this and the cupcakes were Marianne's sweet vanilla.
Apr. 5, 2012 8:05 pm
Allie, you have no idea how many times I've made Marianne's SVCC's. Like a zillion I'm sure. I have her recipe memorized. I've put every different kind of frostin/icing on them you can imagine. They are the BEST!!!!

I just bought some Lingonberry jam and think I'll use that in place of the raspberry jam, if it's ok with you?
Apr. 5, 2012 7:16 pm
Sure that would be alright. I have my favourite jams that I like to use for recipes. I will be waiting for your review. I hope they turn out good for you.

When I last made the recipe they came out very large for me with the amount of batter generously filling the muffin cups.

Allie, thanks for sharing your personal Oreo Cupcake recipe. It looks great! And, I'll be trying it our for sure. I'll leave a review. BTW, do you mind if I use "butter" instead or shortening? I make lots and lots of CC's and I prefer shortening. I ask because I won't review without your permission to make the substitute.
