There are 4347 cake recipes on AR. You would think that in all those I could find something I like! Seriously, of course, I didn't read ALL those, just a few and what is in my recipe box. Lately, I have baked the Butter Pound Cake (Great by the way.), Devil's Food w/Boiled Milk Icing & a Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Give me one of your fav's please...only no cream cheese or sourcream(yogart). I need something for supper. I can run to the store if needed.

Ok broke the cream cheese rule. But I used 8oz of silken tofu in place of the cream cheese and grated lime peal in place of the lemon in this recipe. You could use any forosting or just bake as a bunt cake and go with a powdered sugar and tequila pored over the top.

The Black Magic Cake remains one of my all-time favorite chocolate cakes from AR. The coffee makes all the difference. But if you can't do caffeine, decaf works just as well.

This is the cake I was going to post. Always turns out great and so yummy. Lately I have been putting a layer of melted peanut butter on before spreading on chocolate frosting.

Cake mix is flavored with almond liqueur to make this elegant three-layered cake which is filled with almond liqueur flavored whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with crushed toffee candy bars.

My Grand M.I.L. loves this one. I like the Tiramisu Layer Cake that is available here, but it takes a little time to make. I was in a pinch 2 weeks ago and made Pooter's Wine Cake; it was like a lightly flavored moist pound cake, went well with a little whipped cream and strawberries. Tried the Fresh Strawberry upside down cake last night and it went over really well.

Romanian Apple Cake

This is a wonderfully simple, yet delicious cake! It is so moist and fresh, it will surely be a favorite with your family, just like it is with mine! The main length of the preparation time is cutting and peeling the apples. A mixture of apples works great, although I usually use Golden Delicious.

Yellow cake mix, canned fruit cocktail, coconut, and nuts blend in this recipe that may look a bit 'ugly,' but tastes great.
