recipe sounds delish - my first born is turning 9, so in a bit we're off to celebrate his birthday ALL day with family, so we're having gutbusters (his request) for dinner, making chili for it

I'm making lasagna and debating whether to try making homemade rolls for the first time. I've never made yeast breads before and it's a bit intimidating!

Will do Belly - it smells so good! I didn't use the 2 cups of sugar. Replaced most of the white with some Splenda.

sd - a gutbuster is fritos with chili and toppings. kind of a campers dinner if you just open the snack bags and put chili in it and then all the toppings. Matthew requested my chili instead of canned

SINCE our children left the nest, lasagna has been relegated to company fare since most recipes make enough for a crowd. But then I saw a recipe that rolled lasagna noodles into individual servings, and I adapted my original recipe to this efficient way of preparing it. I've got my macaroni salad chilling in the fridge, about to get the chickens & rub seasonings under & over the skin prior to putting them on the BBQ rotisserie later today & am thinking about what I want to add to the big (7 lbs. +) can of baked beans that will be the other side dish.It was suppossed to be for the dinner w/the neighbors tonight, but they had other plans so this dinner will now be for tonmorrow-I'm thinking it will all be better then after the flavors meld.
