"Tastes strikingly similar to a popular teriyaki marinade of similar name, but a little more spicy from the cayenne. My little ones love the sweet/spicy/salty/orange/savory flavor and although the thyme sounds weird to put in this mix, it's totally that "something" that brings it together."
Combine. Pour over 5 or 6 bone-in, skin on chicken thighs, marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge, cook chicken, enjoy.
My preferred method of cooking: put sauce and chicken in a disposable foil pan and BBQ on medium-high until almost done, then finish on a cooler side of the grill to prevent the honey from caramelizing too fast and becoming char.
