Prepare the turkey. Take out the giblets and all that stuff. Then, put the turkey in a turkey dish.
Mix the sage, rosemary, and basil together in a bowl.
4. Pour the wine and the broth onto the turkey. Remember, get some of the liquid into the cavity of the turkey.
Mix the veggies on a chopping board and stuff them into the cavity of the turkey.
Rub the outside of the turkey with the herbs.
Put foil on the top of the turkey without it touching the legs or the skin of the breast.
Put the turkey into the oven. Cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours in the oven for the first time, check it, then for the second time, put it in the oven for a extra 1 hour or when it is golden brown. Remember, from time to time, use a ladle to pour the extra liquid at the bottom on the top. Enjoy!!!
