Easy Keys Fish Tacos

Easy Keys Fish Tacos

Tracey M

"Super Easy and Delicious. I like these better than most of the ones you order in a restaurant with the exception of some places in the Keys when Grouper is in season."

  1. Cut the fish into chunks and prepare batter. Use a deep fryer or a large skillet filled with enough oil to deep fry the battered pieces of fish.
  2. While the fish is frying heat oven to warm and put in wraps or tortillas with a damp tea towel covering them so they don't dry out and a plate with paper towel to keep the battered fish warm until it is all done.
  3. Next, using a mandolin or knife, julienne the mango or jicama. I like the mango for a sweeter dish or you can use both if you want to make double the amount. Mix it all in with the prepackaged slaw mix.
  4. Toss with Thai dipping sauce and set aside.
  5. Chop up some cilantro for garnish.
  6. Take out the wraps and fill with slaw mixture and top with the battered fish pieces.
  7. Drizzle with the chipotle cream sauce. Enjoy!
