  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Beat butter on medium setting until creamy. Turn to lowest setting and add powdered sugar and salt. Add cherry juice and extract until combined. Add flour slowly. Increase speed to medium and add the cherries.
  3. Shape dough into one inch balls and place on baking sheet. Using your thumb, press each cookie until it is about half an inch thick. Sprinkle each cookie with granulated sugar.
  4. Bake until lightly browned on bottom, about 14 minutes.
  5. Once removed from oven add one hershey kiss to center of each cookie. Transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
