Simpliest Chicken Soup Ever

Simpliest Chicken Soup Ever

"Great for a quick, easy dinner on a weeknight. I like to make it when the weather starts to get colder. Additional seasonings are necessary, however I omitted them in the recipe because they change according to your prefrence (I used pepper, parsley and Italian seasoning). You can also easily substitute the canned vegetables for fresh ones (corn, carrots, green beans, peas, and lima beans were in my can)."

  1. Cube or cut your chisken breast into strips.
  2. Cut onion to your desired thickness (I like to just slice them)
  3. Add chicken and onions to a pot of 7 cuts of water and bring to a boil.
  4. Drain the can of mixed vegetables, saving the water to add to the broth.
  5. Turn down heat to medium-low, but keep the broth at a steady boil. Add the water from the can of vegetables. (If adding noodles, do so now.)
  6. Let boil for as long as it takes for the chicken to cook through--around 15 minutes.
  7. Add the vegetables last and serve.
