  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a food processor add the water and ½ cup raisins. Puree until smooth.
  3. Cream together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add puree to cream/sugar/egg/vanilla mixture.
  5. Add in the baking powder, salt, baking soda and flour.
  6. Gently stir in the oatmeal and additional raisins.
  7. Using large ice cream scoop, place dough on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 13 minutes.
  9. Remove the cookies from the oven while they are still slightly undercooked.
  10. Transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
