Original recipe yields 8 servings

  1. Boil noodles according to package directions.
  2. Drain & set aside.
  3. Melt 1/2 stick butter in pan.
  4. Add flour and whisk until combined. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until boiling stirring constantly.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Cube Velveeta and melt into sauce.
  8. Add cayenne, salt & pepper.
  9. Stir in noodles.
  10. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
  11. Melt 2 Tbsp butter and stir in Panko crumbs. Add to the top of macaroni & cheese.
  12. Broil on for 5-10 minutes until Panko is browned.
