  1. Place the mixed cornstarch and water till it makes a rue in cooking pan then add sugars, soy sauce, cider, garlic, ginger cook over medium heat till thicken. You can make this sauce and freeze it till you need it. You can brown the skin or skinless chicken but not necessary just gives a great presentation. Place about 1/3 cup of rice in center of foil place chicken thigh on top and add sauce over palce a sprig of cilantro and seal the foil and bake for 45 min or if you browned the chicken reduce cook time to 25 min till fully cooked. You can add some veggies carrots, spinach or peas over the rice then chicken sauce and cilantro. This is an awsome meal. Extra sauce is alway nice Enjoy


I would like to add you can baste the chicken with sauce while browning it really is a beautiful dish...
