  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 12 cup muffin tin, mix together the first four ingredients. Cut in the shortening and mix to combine. In a separate bowl beat the eggs add the milk to the eggs and mix to combine. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Put the mixture in the greased muffin tins and in the oven as quick as possible and bake for 20 minutes. *See notes*
