  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and cook until tender; drain in a colander.
  3. In the same pot, stir in 1 Tbsp butter, and the minced garlic, saute until carmelized.
  4. Pour the milk into the pot, and return the potatoes to the pot. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter and the feta cheese.
  5. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or electric mixer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
