  1. Rinse and scrub potatoes, peel if you prefer, or leave the peels on. Cut potatoes into approximately 2 inch cubes. Crush garlic and add with the potatoes to a medium pot.
  2. Cover potatoes with water,add salt to taste, bring to boil on medium high until fork tender, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain potatoes, return to same hot pot. Add feta cheese, butter, milk,and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mash potatoes with a potato masher or a hand mixer until creamy. Sprinkle with chives optional.
