Unroll and spread 1 can of crescent rolls on the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Combine cream cheese with 1C sugar and vanilla. Unroll 2nd can crescent rolls and press over cream cheese layer. Brush butter over. Sprinkle generously with a mixture of 1/2C sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.Bake 20-30 min in a 350 degree oven until gently brown on the bottom. Drizzle with glaze made from confectionary sugar and water if desired.
