  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. In a medium size bowl combine dry ingredients and stir together and set aside
  3. Measure out sunflower seeds, dried cranberries and wheat germ and put into small bowls
  4. In a large mixing bowl combine butter and sugar and break down the butter and mix together with the sugar
  5. Add the eggs and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until mixture is smooth and creamy
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the mixture and beat with the mixer until all the flour is incorporated
  7. Stir in the dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and wheat germ and spread the sunflower seeds and cranberries evenly throughout the dough.
  8. Take small spoonfuls of dough and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and then remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack to cool.
