  1. Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
  2. Heat Karo on stovetop until boiling, and add marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows have melted.
  3. With mixer going, slowly add the Karo/marshmallow mixture to the beaten egg whites. Add in vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form. Frost cake immediately.
