  1. Mix eggs and corn syrup. Add sugar until completely mixed. Stir in salt and vanilla. Let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile, spread pecan halves evenly on bottom of pie shell.
  2. Stir melted butter into syrup mixture and pour carefully over pecans. All pecans will rise to the top. Now, bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes, until center is firm.
