  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF
  2. Place rack at centre of oven, line baking sheets with silicone pan liners, parchment paper, or aluminum foil
  3. In a bowl sift together (both) flours, baking soda, and salt- set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl mix butter and sugars until light and fluffy (about 3 min.) Add eggs one at a time and then add vanilla- mixture will seem curdled but continue mixing, it will become smoother.
  5. Mix in flour mixture until all traces of flour disappear, MIXTURE WILL BE THICK.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips, grease pan. Drop heaping tablespoons of mixture 2 inches apart on the pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
  7. Rotate each sheet 180º halfway through baking time
  8. Let cool and enjoy!
