Baked Three Cheese Spaghetti

"I got this recipe from a set of dishes that I had ordered on line and I made a couple of changes to it and wa-la! My family really loved the end result. You can also make this ahead and just pop it in the oven when you are ready! Enjoy!"

Original recipe yields 8 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil spaghetti for 2 minutes less than the package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Transfer to a 4 quart baking dish (rectangular is best.)
  2. Add ricotta cheese, milk, melted butter, and salt to the spaghetti in the the baking dish and toss until combined.
  3. In a large skillet brown ground beef. Add the spaghetti sauce and the parmesan cheese to the skillet and mix. Pour the meat mixture over the spaghetti mixture in the baking dish.
  4. Top with mozzarella cheese and then sprinkle with the Italian seasoning. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown and sauce is bubbly. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
