  1. Need: 9 x 13” cake pan. Heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Crust: Cream butter in mixer, add flour and powdered sugar. Mix until dough forms a ball.
  3. Pat dough into bottom of ungreased 9x13” pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Middle layer: Mix cream cheese and sugar together, add eggs and almond extract. Beat until smooth. (Small lumps are ok.) Pour over hot crust and return pan to oven. Bake another 15-20 minutes. Cool.
  5. Frosting: Cream butter with powdered sugar (add sugar gradually), add almond extract and milk.
  6. Frost bars when they’ve cooled.
