Slow Cooker Philly Steak Sandwich Meat


"This makes a fantastic meat for Philly Steak sandwiches. You can even use lower grade roasts and have this turn out. It also makes its own Au Jus if you like to dip as I do."

  1. In a slow cooker, spread onion and garlic evenly over the bottom.
  2. Place the beef over top of onion and garlic.
  3. On top of the beef, sprinkle evenly all of the dry seasonings. Top with Frank's Red Hot, Jim Beam, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour Budweiser evenly over top and drop in the beef bouillon cube.
  5. Cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hour on high. Once the onions have softened, stir every once in a while to evenly distribute the spices.
