  1. Combine all sauce ingredients and stir occasionally until mixture boils, then reduce heat to simmering for 40-50 minutes.
  2. Place sliced pineapple in oven safe pan. Place chicken breasts on top of pineapple, and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Glaze chicken with syrup mixture, coating generously.
  4. Cook until internal temp reaches 180 degrees.
