  1. Heat oil in large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and celery and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add carrots and cook an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add sliced sausage and cook until slightly brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add stock, tomatoes and seasonings; bring to boil. Add pasta and reduce temperature to a simmer. Cover and cook until pasta is cooked, about 20 minutes. Add beans.
  6. Add kale or spinach, and cook a minute or two.
  7. Garnish with parmesan when serving.
