  1. Put water on to cook for pasta.
  2. Sauté onion in olive oil. When soft, add garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Add white wine and reduce to half.
  4. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook for five or ten minutes on simmer.
  5. Cook pasta in salted boiling water.
  6. Add fresh basil to sauce and take off heat. Toss in pasta. Serve with Parmesan.
  7. I served this with spinach caprese salad from this site and crusty bread. Easy and delicious.
