  1. Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper flakes and mustard in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir. Turn off heat.
  3. In 3-4 jars (depending on size of cucumbers) place 1/2 a clove of garlic, a couple of sprigs of dill, 1 tablespoon of peppercorns and 1/4 of the cucumbers.
  4. Pour vinegar mixture into each jar all the way to the top.
  5. Put lids on jars and refrigerate for 24 hours before eating.
  6. Keeps in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
