Combine apples, orange juice and cinnamon powder in a medium saucepan. Cook it in medium flame, stirring often cover and let it boil, again checking often to prevent your saucepan from erupting, this will take around 20-25 minutes.
Reduce flame to low and let it simmer for another 20-25 minutes, I prefer a thick consistency so just adjust the time you cook your apples according to your preference. If the desired consistency is achieved, start mashing your apples with a fork while simmering.
Remove from stove and let cool. Transfer in a clean glass jar or container and keep in the refrigerator
