First take whatever you are breading (i.e. chicken or pork) and place it on the plate with flour. Cover the meat in flour, ensuring that you press the flour on areas that are not covered when placing the meat in the flour.
Second, take the flour-covered meat and cover it in the egg and milk mixture. Again, ensure the entire surface is coated.
Finally, place the egg-covered meat on the plate of bread crumbs and cover the entire surface with bread crumbs.
