  1. 1. Preheat over to 375 degrees.
  2. 2. Mix the first 10 dry ingredients: oats, flour, pecans, sugars, wheat germ, flax seed, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3. Whisk the following wet ingredients separately and add to dry: buttermilk, oil, egg, vanilla.
  4. 4. Add boiling water to mix and let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Fold in blueberries and divide into muffin tins.
  6. 6. Bake for approximately 28 minutes for large tins for approximately 20 minutes for standard tins.
