  1. Boil the macaroni in water for 4 minutes. Drain.
  2. In slow cooker, combine milk, sour cream, soup, butter, shredded cheese, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Add the drained macaroni and stir again.
  4. Cook on low until thick and tender, up to 2-1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
  5. Towards the end, check flavor and add additional salt or pepper if needed.
