White Garlic Chicken Pizza with Sargento Cheeses

White Garlic Chicken Pizza with Sargento Cheeses

"I make this recipe at home as a copy-cat from our local pizza parlor. It's very easy to put together with premade pizza crust, and premaking your own dough saves even more money from ordering out or getting a store-bought crust!"

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Preheat pizza stone as well, if using.
  2. Chop green onions, tomato, artichoke hearts, and mince the garlic. Set aside in little cups or ramekins.
  3. Prepare the white sauce: Melt the butter in a saute pan. Saute the garlic in the butter for a few minutes to soften. Remove a little more than half the garlic and set aside in a cup or ramekin. Add the flour and stir to blend into the remaining garlic and butter. Add the cream and allow to bubble and thicken. Stir in the Parmesan and parsley. Continue stirring until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the white sauce on the prepared pizza crust. Top with the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with the green onions, tomato, artichoke, chicken, and reserved garlic.
  5. Place pizza on a bake sheet or directly on preheated pizza stone and cook for 8-10 minutes until heated through and mozzarella has melted.
