  1. Mix dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder).
  2. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle at medium to medium-high heat.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of margarine.
  4. Add margarine, egg (beaten), milk, and water to dry ingredients.
  5. Mix until well-blended without lumps.
  6. Use margarine to lightly grease "drop zone"
  7. Drop about a 1/2 cup of batter into the "drop zone"
  8. Flip pancake when bubbles form throughout most of the pancake.
  9. Cook on other side until golden brown and delicious...or until smoke comes off the pan and they are less delicious.
  10. Serve (with peanut butter and jelly!)
