  1. 1.Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. 2.In a skillet over low heat, melt the butter. saute the onion and bell pepper until
  3. softened and translucent, 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. (Meanwhile, brown the bacon in a skillet, on medium-high about 10 minutes.Drain bacon on a paper towel. Cut bacon into about 1 inch pieces and set aside.)
  5. 3.Combine the baked beans,ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, bell pepper and onions in
  6. a prepared 4-quart casserole dish. Stir in the cooked bacon and brown sugar until evenly mixed.
  7. 4.Bake uncovered in the preheated oven. Beans are done when hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
