"I have been making this soup for many years, and finally decided to save it here. It is somewhat how my mother used to make it when we were growing up, with some modifications - mainly the broccoli and celery seed. There are so many recipes for Chicken Noodle Soup and so many ways to make it, but it just isn't right to me without the celery seed. I hope you like it!"

  1. Boil the chicken legs for 1/2 hour. Remove from pan, reserve water. Place legs in colander and run cold water over them to cool them. Skim the foam from the water in the pan. Add vegetables and seasoning. Cube the chicken breast, add to the boiling water. Skin and debone the chicken legs. Add the meat to the pan. Boil for 20 minutes. Add the noodles and boil another 10 minutes.
