  1. In a large sauce pan, mix together the blueberries, sugar, salt, and lemon.
  2. With a potato masher smash the blueberries until their juices are released.
  3. Simmer on medium-high heat for 18-25 minutes, or until thickened.
  4. Store in the freezer for up to a year, or in the refrigerator for up to a month.
