Line a 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil. Place graham crackers in pan. In a saucepan combine butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes (~300 °F on a candy thermometer). Carefully pour over graham crackers and then sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 400°F for 4-5 minutes until it starts to bubble. Cool in pan for 4 minutes.
Pull up foil and separate from hardened cookies. Break cookies into 2" x 3" pieces and transfer to wire rack to cool completely
